Sevenhill Cellars 10:00 – 10:45am
This was the first winery in the Clare Valley to be established, back in 1851. It is now known for its premium table wines, which you can sample at the cellar door.
Knappstein Enterprise Winery and Brewery 11:00am – 11:50pm
If you like to mix it up a bit, visit Knappstein Winery next where you can try award winning wines or their beer – the Knappstein Reserve lager is a premium Bavarian-style beer worth trying.
Mr. Mick’s Kitchen 12:00 – 13:30pm
Your lunch stop could be at Mr Mick’s kitchen, who are known for their tapas-style approach. This is a great location if you are into sharing several small dishes with each other. How about extending your time here for an additional wine tasting?
Skillogalee Winery 13:55 – 14:45
Skillogalee Winery was the first region in the Clare Valley to open a winery restaurant. Known for their popular Rieslings, Skillogalee has won Australia’s Best Cellar Door Awards three times in a row since 2015.
Mitchell Wines 14:50 – 16:00
If you have some time left you could also visit this renowned Riesling producer and family owner winery and try their intensely flavoured red wines from Shiraz, Cabernet and Grenache.
Relax on your way back into Adelaide or stay overnight and a make a weekend out of it.
